Overview
When buying a used car, the most expensive mistake is paying for damage you never saw. An inspection reduces that risk, but the classic model requires driving the car to a station — a step that costs both seller and buyer time and often gets postponed.
This project brings the inspection to wherever the car is, and digitises the part that actually matters: the report. While the technician performs body, paint, engine, mechanical and airbag checks on site, findings go straight into the system. Body and paint findings are recorded on an interactive body diagram rather than as free text; which panel was replaced and which was repainted is marked on the schematic. That makes the report both more readable and less open to interpretation.
The system manages three package tiers, from a basic check to a full inspection including chassis and dyno performance testing. The report template changes with the selected package, and a multi-page PDF is produced and delivered to the customer the same day.
The dealer network layer lifts the product beyond a single business: applicants join after admin approval and can produce their own inspections using the same panel and report templates.
