Overview

In interior design, what sells is not the text but the image. A client chooses a firm from a photograph of a finished space, not a sentence. So the whole architecture of the site was built around visual priority.

The project gallery is the centre. Each project has its own page, with short notes on the space type, materials used and the implementation process. Images are presented at large scale without compression loss, while lazy loading keeps page speed intact.

Service descriptions were kept deliberately short. In this field clients do not read service lists — they see the work and get in touch. For that reason every gallery page ends with a single, clear contact prompt.

Highlights

  • A visual-first page architecture
  • A separate gallery page per project
  • Page speed preserved through lazy loading
  • One clear contact prompt at the end of each gallery

Objectives

  • Showcase completed work as effectively as possible
  • Preserve page speed despite heavy imagery
  • Make the step from gallery to contact effortless

Solution

  • A large-scale visual presentation layout
  • Image optimisation and lazy loading
  • A project-based content structure
  • A simple, single-step contact form

Approach

  1. 01Selecting and preparing the portfolio images
  2. 02Building the gallery architecture
  3. 03Speed optimisation and launch

Outcomes

  • The firm now presents its work in a professional showcase
  • Prospects contact the firm directly from the gallery
  • Page speed held up despite the heavy imagery

Challenges

  • Balancing high-resolution images against page speed
  • Preserving the gallery experience on mobile
  • Letting the firm update content itself
